Fire Protection Insulations for Building Applications

PAROC FPS 14Image

PAROC FPS 14 (Fire protection slab)

PAROC FPS 14 is a fire protection slab with a nominal density of ~140 kg/m3. The product can be used for fire protection applications, where sufficient product density serves as the selection criterion for the fire protection insulation.

The fire protection board is attached to the surface to be protected with non-combustible fasteners according to the designer's instructions.

The product is easy to cut into different shapes with a wool knife.

PAROC FPS 14t (Fire protection slab)

Fire protection slab PAROC FPS 14t is non-combustible stone wool insulation for use as fire protection for steel structures, chimneys, doors, furnaces and ovens. Stone wool insulation has varying fire protection abilities that are largely dependant on the density of the material as well as the used insulation thickness. Generally speaking, the higher the density, the longer the fire protection time. PAROC FPS 14t has a density of ~140 kg/m3. The right product for the application will be chosen based on the system provider's approval. The product is easy to handle and install for different kinds of fire applications. The fire protection slab is faced with natural coloured glass fibre tissue.

PAROC FPS 17 (Fire protection slab)

PAROC FPS 17 is a multi-purpose fire protection slab (nom. density 170kg/m3) for passive fire protection of e.g., load-bearing steel, wooden and concrete structures. The product is installed on the surface of the material to be protected either with screws or welding pins according to the separate installation instructions.

The fire protection of several different structures can be solved with one easy-to-work product.

Mechanically attached fire protection is easy to open if necessary to check the condition of the structures.

In concrete structures, protective concrete can be replaced with fire protection, which means that the amount of concrete can be reduced. In this case, the total weight of the structures and the carbon footprint are reduced.

The fire protection system for steel structures is ETA-approved.

PAROC FPS 17a (Fire protection slab)

PAROC FPS 17a is a multi-purpose fire protection slab (nominal density 170kg/m3) coated with thin aluminum foil. It is used e.g. for passive fire protection of load-bearing steel, wood and concrete structures. The product is installed on the surface of the material to be protected either with screws or welding pins according to the separate installation instructions.

The aluminum foil-covered fire protection slab enables the continuity of a tight vapor barrier layer in the structure to be protected. The boards must be tightly taped to each other and to the related structures with aluminum tape.

PAROC FPS 17t (Fire protection slab)

PAROC FPS 17t is a multi-purpose fire protection board (nominal density 170kg/m3) covered with natural colored glass fiber veil. It is used e.g. for passive fire protection of load-bearing steel, wood and concrete structures. The product is installed on the surface of the material to be protected either with screws or welding pins according to the separate installation instructions.

The covered fire protection board gives a more finished look to the installation. The surface can be painted to achieve a smoother end result.

Mechanically attached fire protection is easy to open if necessary to check the condition of the structures.

In concrete structures, protective concrete can be replaced with fire protection, which means that the amount of concrete can be reduced. In this case, the total weight of the structures and the carbon footprint are reduced.

PAROC FPY 1 (Fire protection strip)

PAROC FPY 1 fire protection strip is non-combustible stone wool insulation for use as fire protection sealing around doors, windows and other structures. The soft and resilient strip is easy to handle and install for different kinds of fire applications.
