General Director of UAB Paroc, Jonas Liubertas, accepted a gold medal for rendered facade slab PAROC FAS B in the Lithuanian Product of the Year 2012 contest. The contest is considered to be the most important business society event in Lithuania. Lithuanian Prime Minister, Algirdas Butkevičius, congratulated winners and handed out the awards.
The idea of this annual competition is to increase the quality and competitiveness of Lithuanian products and introduce the country's industrial production, goods and services to local and international consumers. A total of 80 companies in 15 branches of national economy were nominated in the Lithuanian Product of the Year contest. Products of the nominated companies were evaluated by experts from different individual industrial and business associations.
Lithuanian Prime Minister, Algirdas Butkevičius, was pleased that the amount of contestants is increasing every year. This year especially, the small and middle sized companies were involved.
Mr. Liubertas was also pleased when accepting the award from Lithuanian Prime Minister.
It is a very pleasant and well-earned validation for Paroc team work. We have been and will continue to improve our products, so that they will be part of the progress of the Lithuanian construction industry and technology”, he said in his speech.
PAROC FAS B is used widely in Lithuania due to its remarkable properties. Paroc FAS B has been used for insulating new buildings as well as renovating buildings. PAROC FAS B is used in Lithuania, for example, as insulation material in the nine-storey apartment building “Konarskio butai” in the centre of Vilnius, in a hospital in Akmenė, and in the multistory apartment buildings in Klaipėda.
PAROC FAS B is a non-combustible (EN ISO 1182) stone wool insulation slab with excellent thermal properties for thin rendered applications in new buildings and renovations. It does not accumulate moisture or react to changes in temperature. With the rendered facade insulation slab you can easily create a smooth base layer for thin rendering in case of an uneven surface of the supporting wall. At the same time, you will improve sound insulation and increase fire resistance of the external walls. Thermal Conductivity of the product is λD 0,036 W/mK (EN 13162).
